Chretin
The Pipe shown below was made exclusively for the Au Vizir shop. This had been common practice for Saint-Claude's pipe companies, and that continues to be the case today. Jeana Chretina's workshop had always been on Poyat street in Saint-Claude. Today that is just a block of flats--all that remains is a sign on the former workshop building with the name of Chretina's father. This material has been kindly provided by Sébastien BEAUD (GENOD).
