Daadou Pipe

“Rhamnus” :type genus of the Rhamnaceae

Pipes made out of rhamnus have a long history in Northern China. The material is very hard, so mass production by machine has so far proved inviable. That is also the reason few pipe makers choose this kind of wood as material. All rhamnus pipes are made entirely by hand.

Pipe is very simple, reflecting an attitude to life.
