Dybso 01.jpg
Dybsø pipe, courtesy Erling Holmgaard, which caused his interest to investigate the pipe's history

It was previously mentioned that Dybso had a connection with Karl Erik Ottendahl, although unconfirmed. Thanks to Erling Holmgaard we have now confirmed that Dybsø pipes were NOT made by Karl Erik. They were made by Benny S. Christensen, who lived in Dybsø near Næstved. His source is good friend and pipemaker, Bent Nielsen (Benner), who once worked for Karl Erik and knows Benny S. Christensen personally.
