From Pipes, Artisans and Trademarks, by Jose Manuel Lopés'

Spanish pipes made by old artisans from Extremadura, in the Las Hurdes (Caceres) region. They are ornamental and ethnographic pieces, "schematic and geometrical", made in olive wood, briar, walnut, as well as in a mineral called ringwoodita, produced by the fusion of meteorite material with local rock.
