History

The Knickerbocker Pipe Co. (officially the "Knickerbocker Smoking Pipe Company, Inc.") was headquartered in Brooklyn, New York, with its corporate business address in the Time-Life Building at 1271 Avenue of the Americas in New York, New York. The company was dissolved December 23, 1992.

In addition to pipes, other items such as cuff links and tie clasps were sold by the company.

Pipe models

Kool-Smok: It was a pipe based off the Viking and Falcon designs. It is an aluminum pipe with a briar screw in bowl, that has a nut at the base of the bowl that can be adjusted to increase or decrease airflow, and with cooling fins on the stem that are cut at an angle and from the side give the impression of a corkscrew (see example).
