M M Importing Co. was a company out of New York. There's evidence they were importers of Dunhill pipe before they got their New York store started. They also became the sole imported of Sasieni pipes and products to the USA. Also, there are pipes marketed as BLUE BAR, made for M M by both Sasieni and Comoy's. I've seen a nice example of a Sasieni BLUE BAR two-pipe set from 1926, which was marked: PIPE ONE - LEFT SIDE STAMPED: BLUE BAR (arched over) MM (over) IMPORTING C O - RIGHT SIDE: MADE IN ENGLAND then 15 N - STEM: Blue Bar PIPE TWO - LEFT SIDE STAMPED: BLUE BAR (arched over) MM (over) IMPORTING C O - RIGHT SIDE: MADE IN ENGLAND then 39 N - STEM: Blue Bar

Also, an early 1920's-30's Comoy's made example, marked, LEFT SIDE STAMP: M M IMPORTING Co., RIGHT SIDE STAMP: MADE IN ENGLAND (rugby shape, with "IN" in the center) BRUYERE. This one has a 9k gold band marked: M M, <9> [375] (f) and London lions face. This pipe has a long rectangular light blue bar, but is not stamped with the words "BLUE BAR" as the Sasieni pipes were.
