Micah Redmond

Micah Redmond was born in 1982 and raised in Jacksonville, FL. A lifelong connection to art led to a interest in the creative possibilities of pipe making and Micah began making pipes as a hobby. After a few visits and a lot of help and education from Premal Chheda, pipe making became a more serious pursuit. In 2015, Micah moved to Nashville, TN to join the Briar Works team. Working with talented pipe maker friends/colleagues has provided an environment where creative expression and improvement of craft have become a part of daily life.[1]
I like to make stuff. My primary focus is tobacco pipes which I find are an excellent medium to explore form and function. I'm originally from Jacksonville, FL but relocated to Nashville, TN in 2015 to join the Briar Works International team, where I work alongside a group of very talented pipe makers and friends.[2]
