P.Zhan Pipes

Ping Zhan was born in a beautiful beach city called Dalian, China, 1979.

Although he studied computer science and technology in collage and worked as a software engineer for 10 years after the graduation, He always had dream and passion for art. When he found out about pipe smoking, and then pipe making, he felt this was something he can do, not only because he likes working with his hands, but also pipes have connections with art.

From 2011, he started to learn pipe making by himself. His works are influenced by the great Japanese masters, and the Danish master as well. He makes about 100 pipes per year.
