The scope of the Pipedia project will ultimately be defined by its contributors. Our hope in setting it up is that it will become an extensive repository of information on tobacco pipes and their makers. Knowledgeable enthusiasts, collectors, and pipe makers are welcome and encouraged to contribute to Pipedia.

Pipedia is sponsored by S.E.Thile handmade pipes [1]. We hope that Pipedia will include information on all pipe makers Worldwide. Please feel free to contribute to Pipedia in any areas you have accurate information and interest relating to collecting and smoking tobacco pipes. When posting about individual pipe makers, please contribute good quality photo examples of their work. Please check that the contact information, links to individual pipe maker web sites, and links to any dealers that offer their pipes for sale are current.

Meng believes that world peace can be achieved -- but only if people cultivate the conditions for inner peace within themselves.
