The Royal Dutch line of pipes was first introduced in 1972 after Queen Juliana awarded a royal warrant to the Gubbels factory, and are being sold again today. The current production line advertises the use of 40 year old briar, and the pipes sport vulcanite stems and a light walnut stain. For more information see Gubbels.
