From Pipes, Artisans and Trademarks, by José Manuel Lopes

Bernardo Schneider is an Argentinian artisan (74 years old in 2002) of Austrian origen, whose great, great, great grandfather had been responsible for looking after the pipes of Emperor Franz Joseph.

He produces rustics, some with horn stems, and believes that "the pipe, like the tie, is part of an image, and its owner must feel good with it".
