Ben Scofield makes pipes primarily as a hobby, having started, like many others, from using pipe kits. He then had help from Tyler Beard (see Tyler Lane), and was at one time an active member of the Pipemakers Forum. During 2006 - 2007 his pipes were offered for sale at "Just For Him" a tobacconist in Springfield, MO. [1]
