Statesman is a sub-branding of Comoy's, starting early in production, likely 1930's through the 1980's. Original stamping is Statesman in a script style over MADE IN ENGLAND, and on right model number only, later added MADE IN LONDON (in circle over) ENGLAND. Logo is a horizontal red bar inset in left side of the stem. They appear to be a better quality offering, with nice grain and typically no fills.
