Presumably made by Texaco Inc., the Texaco pipe usually has nomenclature with the labels "Texaco",captitalized, and "Imported Briar" on it's side. It has a red finish with a billiard shape. As far as we know, all pipes stamped "Imported Briar" are made in the U.S with imported briar, so the Texaco pipe probably was too. Drinkless Mechanisms, or "stingers" were introduced around 1927 and have slowly stopped being produced since around 1964 dating this pipe somewhere in that era. - BriarBrothers
