At least some Texaco pipes were made by LHS Sterncraft, presumably for Texaco, Inc. As evidenced by the following example:

The Texaco pipe usually has nomenclature with the labels "Texaco", capitalized, and "Imported Briar" on it's side. Drinkless Mechanisms, or "stingers" were introduced around 1927 and have slowly stopped being produced since around 1964. That would date the following example somewhere in that era.
