From what I can gather THORBURN CLARK Ltd. was a tobacconist shop in Manchester, England. They had pipes stamped as such, and the pipes were perhaps carved on premesis. The model I have in front of me is a larger scale bent billiard with model "STANDARD" stamped at an angle on the side. In addition is the stamping RONNIE FORSTER on the bottom, who I assume is their carver. The shop is believed to be out of business since the 1970's.
