Roger Vincent is the brand and name of a French artisan from Saint-Claude, who has retired after over 30 years of pipemaking. He followed his father, Léon Vincent, also a maître-piper and pipe sculptor.

Highlights are his sculpted bowls (faces, animals, etc.), with the best pieces being Verdi and the head of a Murcian bull, which tood him 130 hours to make and won him, in 1994, the 'Best French Artisan' award.

Briar pipe carver

Roger Vincent is a carver of Saint Claude in the Jura in France. Roger start to carve his first briar pipe 40 years ago. Roger is a Master "artisan" and also got the title of "Meilleur Ouvrier de France " (best worker of France) in 1994. He is one of the last carver of briar pipe in France. He is able to produce "standard" carved pipes, but also custom model on request.
