"Fincato is the brand of the famous tobacconist in central Rome, owned by Fausto Fincato. Model of the designer in 2000 for the Brebbia Grandi Designers della Pepa special series. Fausto was born in Padua on July 5th, 1940. At an early age he went to the capital where his Aunt Emilia had a tobacconist next to Chigi Palace and the Chamber of Deputies (the Italian Parliment).
Fausto transformed the shop into a smoker's paradies where, on the upper floor, visitors can admire his private collection. He founded the magazine Smoking, aimed at Italian pipe smokers, and the club Circolo della Pipa, in the 1990s."
History: Emilia Fincato opened his tobacco shop in 1932. On the ground floor loose cigarettes, tobacco and Toscani. On the first floor the tailor shop of her husband Carmelo. The nephews Fausto Fincato and Bruno Baggio began to manage it in the '60s, until it became a point of reference for lovers of pipe of Rome.
