Mike Bay
Mike Sebastian Bay is one of the most important young and new pipe makers from Denmark . This is no coincidence. It started when Mike was looking for someone to repair his father's old pipes. And it ended with him starting an apprenticeship with pipe-making legend Tom Eltang.
Since 2015 , Mike Bay has been part of Tom Eltang's workshop team , and he has benefited greatly from the master's influences. Certainly, you can see this on his pipes. For example, he has adopted Tom Eltang's rustication style and perfected it for himself.
You can also find echoes of this style in the design language, but you can still recognize his own signature in Mike Bay's pipes. Typical are slightly forward tilted pipe bowls , as well as poker shapes with "the bend" . All pipes have a certain elegance and lightness , as well as interesting decorations made of natural materials.
