First own production introduced in 1910. Initialy Initially, Dunhill made pipes was a limitedproduction straight grain pipe hand -cut from over century -old briar burls. Classified by a "'''DRB'''" (denoted straight grainedhighest quality pipe). Others were classified by becoming a "'''BDR'''" (denoted highest quality pipestraight-grained) and a classification marked by an "'''A'''" (denoted first quality), until early 1915. After that , they became a high -endsubset to the Dunhill 'Bruyere'.
