Greetings!

My name is Patrick Thrush, and I live in the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York. My association with pipes, tobacco, and pipe smoking goes back nearly 45 years to the first pipe I owned--a Dr. Grabow Golden Duke Bent.

Presently I have a small collection of pipes from various makers--American and International. All are regular rotation smokers. The oldest is a carved German meerschaum dating from the 1860s. Acquiring, restoring and smoking antique pipes (pre-1930) is my newest pursuit. As a hobby I have a fully equipped 'pipe shop' that can carry out all aspects of smoking pipe work, from routine maintenance through the carving of stummels and stems.

Other pursuits include B&W medium format film photography and printing, amateur radio, vintage fountain pen collecting/restoration, and PHP based web design.
