^h English (en)	The new owners do not appear to have retained their interest in pipe making for very long, as they sold the company again in 1986. Unfortunately, this new, “Post-Transition” firm decided to abandon the high grade market place, and instead transformed the Sasieni into a mid range “smoker”, a metamorphosis from which it has yet to recover. The news owners decided to capitalize on the Four Dot mystique by eliminating all “second” lines, and issuing practically everything under the Sasieni banner as a Four Dot. This had the inevitable effect of lowering the overall quality of the line. For the first time, it was possible to find a Four Dot with a putty fill, which would have been unheard of when the family ran the company. Even the “Transition” firm maintained the integrity of the Four Dot line by marketing flawed pipes under some other line.
^h French (fr)	Les nouveaux propriétaires ne semblent pas avoir conservé leur intérêt pour la fabrication des pipes durant très longtemps, puisqu’ils vendirent une nouvelle fois l’entreprise en 1986. Malheureusement, cette nouvelle entreprise “Post-Transition", décida d’abandonner le marché des pipes haut de gamme, et en lieu et place transforma les Sasieni en pipes de moyenne gamme, une métamorphose dont elles ne se sont pas encore relevé. Les nouveaux propriétaires décidèrent de tirer parti de la mystique des Four Dot, en éliminant toutes les gammes « secondaires», et en sortant quasiment tout et n’importe quoi sous la bannière Sasieni en tant que Four Dot. Ceci a eu comme effet imparable que baisser la qualité générale de la gamme. Pour la première fois, il était possible de trouver une Four Dot avec un mastic, ce qui aurait été inconcevable lorsque la famille dirigeait l’entreprise. Même l’entreprise de « Transition » avait préservé l’intégrité des Four Dot en vendant les pipes mastiquées sous une gamme différente.
