Diapede was the oldest pipe shop in Turin, Italy, in business for over a century. It was founded by Pietro Diapede, but is now sadly closed. The shop sold its own line of house pipes, stamped with the Diapede name and "Torino". Stems were marked with a white circle with a hollow center. Early meerschaum cases from the shop are marked "Fabrica Pipe, P.DIAPEDE, Torino, Via Viotti" with the outside of the case marked "Schiuma Ed Ambra Garantita", meaning genuined meerschaum and amber.
