Longrie is a company created by Earl J. Longrie of Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the 1930's. The slogan was "The Coolest Pipe in the World". He holds a patent for a spiral shaped cooling coil housed within the stem, patent number US1951665 SMOKERS PIPE filed on June 27, 1932 and issued March 20, 1934.
