Middleton Selbur pipes were made by Comoy's of England in the 1930's for John Middleton. The earliest of these will have the circular MADE IN (center of circle over) ENGLAND stamping and are from the 1930's. The VIRGIN was of exceptional quality grain. The John Middleton Tobacco Company produces some of the U.S.A.'s most popular pipe tobaccos at their factory located in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
