We have the following patent application filed Oct. 30, 1944 and granted February 1946 to one Kurt Vonnegut.[1]
Interesting in part due to the well known author by that name.[2] The dates would indicate the author would have been about to turn 21 on the filing date, and sadly, he was a World World II POW at that time, having been captured by the Germans in the Battle of the Bulge.
