Dušan Doubek – Celtic Tobacco

• Celtic Tobacco is a company that is run by Mr. Dušan Doubek. He is a skilled restorer and he was working for several years as the Organ restorer. He put all his experience and enthusiasm into pipe and humidor production. As a keen pipe smoker he prefers pipes of light shapes that are very comfortable for smoking.

• The original pipes of Mr. Doubek are inspired by the Celtic culture. Mr. Doubek named them as Tuatha de Dannnan, that means from the Irish mythology “The People of the God Danna”. He makes mainly free hand pipes that are decorated by different materials such as silver and wide range of wood, for example oak, briar, olive, amboyna, macasar. Most of the pipes are made from the best briar of the highest quality. Every pipe of the workshop from Mr. Doubek is unique original. The examination of the Doubek pipes are divided according to the stamped points on the trunk. One point is the lowest quality and six points are the best quality with perfectly looking briar. The pipes are marked by the silver escutcheon with the Celtic cross in the middle.
