From the DSH Pipe's website: Rooted in the rich, international traditions of pipe making and drawing on my training as a theatre artist, I work to expand the conversation surrounding pipe artistry by exploring forms in motion. In pursuit of this, I combine elements from different aesthetic schools to create never before seen shapes and stretch the limits of existing ones.
His work has drawn the attention of many highly revered pipe artisans and collectors around the world, some who he is honored to call his friends and mentors. The pipe makers who have personally contributed most to his development as an artist and a craftsperson are Premal Chheda, Alex Florov, and Nanna Ivarsson.

In addition to my focus on pushing the boundaries of artistry in pipe making, I consider craftsmanship to be of the utmost importance. Pipes are functional art and must operate as beautifully as they appear. No expense is spared in the search for the finest materials in the world and I take as much time as necessary to craft each pipe to a new level of excellence.
