David's Moon Rock Rustication

DSH Pipes are made by David S. Huber in Durham, NC. One of David's pipes was selected to be included in the Greater Kansas City Pipe Club's 2013 contest seven pipe set. In 2015, one of David's pipes was selected as the best pipe in show at the Kansas City Pipe Show. David is currently producing the Reddit 2015 Pipe of the Year.

From the DSH Pipe's website: Rooted in the rich, international traditions of pipe making and drawing on my training as a theatre artist, I work to expand the conversation surrounding pipe artistry by exploring forms in motion. In pursuit of this, I combine elements from different aesthetic schools to create never before seen shapes and stretch the limits of existing ones.

In addition to my focus on pushing the boundaries of artistry in pipe making, I consider craftsmanship to be of the utmost importance. Pipes are functional art and must operate as beautifully as they appear. No expense is spared in the search for the finest materials in the world and I take as much time as necessary to craft each pipe to a new level of excellence.
