Linwood Hines, longtime friend of John and fellow member of the Conclave of Richmond Pipe Smokers (CORPS) wrote a beautiful tribute in the August edition of the ''The Pipe Collector'', as did Rich Esserman. John will be greatly missed by his family and friends, and all of us who knew him. Thankfully he leaves a tremendous legacy in the pipes he made, helping and inspiring other pipemakers, and in the pipe community over all--he lives on through all of us. | |||
