Per Hansen (*1948), educated as an electrician, had started making pipes in his leisure times for Hans Hartmann before he worked short-term - appr. two months - for Preben Holm. There he met and made friends with Ulf Noltensmeier.

Hansen joined S. Bang still in 1970 while Noltensmeier moved on to work subsequently for Anne Julie before he followed Bang's call in 1971. Therewith the Bang crew was complete and the success story of the Bang pipes really began.
