That tradition isn’t bound to the factory floor, however; it urges us to adapt and to innovate in the spirit with which Charles Peterson launched his first System pipes. That spirit of innovation led us to develop a new website, which we today unveil: [http://www.peterson.ie/ www.peterson.ie].

A complete catalogue and light e-commerce website, [http://www.peterson.ie/ www.peterson.ie] has been carefully designed to educate our dedicated customers and retailers alike through detailed taxonomy and historically accurate information. Moreover, it represents our complete current understanding of the Peterson brand; it is the first and only place on the internet to definitively catalogue every pipe and accessory we produce, even when currently unavailable. And our customers can still place orders for any product marked available, to be fulfilled by the shipping and customer service teams at our parent company, Laudisi Ireland.

It’s our hope that this newly designed and revamped platform will make it easier to connect with us, to follow along on our journey, and to gain a deeper understanding of our most treasured products. While we continue to expand our modern business practices, we do so to serve our customers with more transparency and enhanced distribution and availability, all while remaining dedicated to the heritage, tradition, and reputation we've garnered over our 150+ years in the industry.

We have a saying here in Ireland: Céad Míle Fáilte. We greet you with one hundred thousand welcomes, wherever you come from, whosoever you be. Welcome to www.peterson.ie. We hope you enjoy.

A special thanks to Mark Irwin and Gary Malmberg for their excellent resource, The Peterson Pipe: The Story of Kapp & Peterson. Without the tremendous effort Mark and Gary put into this work, the quality, consistency, and user experience of www.peterson.ie would not have been the same.

=Introduction=
The Peterson Pipe Chronicles written primarily by Jim Lilley which follows is now dated and contains inaccurate information. We have engaged Gary Malmberg, who along with Mark Irwin wrote the definitive tomb on the subject of Peterson Pipes and their rich heritage and history entitled [https://petersonpipenotes.org/about/ The Peterson Pipe, ''the story of Kapp & Peterson'']. Our hope is that Gary will spearhead a new Peterson article for us. Meanwhile, Jim Lilley's work bellow is a wonderful presentation by a man passionate about the brand, but please take the information with a grain of salt.. --[[User:Sethile|sethile]] ([[User talk:Sethile|talk]]) 09:13, 29 April 2020 (CDT)

The Deluxes are all excellent smokers. The Darwin, of course, is a truly outstanding pipe, its only "flaw" being that it's not a clencher. One particular aspect of this pipe that appeals to me most is its physical beauty and presence. They are a pipe like no other. For me, they also offer a bowl capacity that I like and a balance in the hand that I appreciate. They are well named Deluxe s for giving that special experience.
