Sergey Cherepanov

Sergey Cherepanov is a Russian pipe maker who began his career at a fairly mature age. His passion for the pipe brought him to Mikhail Revyagin and Viktor Yashtylov, who shared their experience and taught him a lot. Now Sergey is working in his own workshop in the suburbs as a professional pipe maker, producing about 100 pipes a year. Cherepanov gives leans toward freehand shapes. He uses Mimmo briar, and Mino, and less often, Jaume Houm, as well as German and Japanese ebonite. Even during work, he doesn't part with the pipe, preferring comfortable nosogreyk stuffed with a classic clean Virginia.

An excellent selection of Sergey Cherepanov pipes is available at Pipedia Underwriter, lepipe.it
