Present-day Skikda, located in Algeria, was founded by Sylvain Charles Valée in 1838 under the name Philippeville, honoring the French king at the time

It seems likely that Skikda pipes are connected to the Amiel brand founded (1923) by Raoul Amiel in Philippeville (Skikda, Algeria). The factory employed about 30 persons in the early 1960s when it closed down. If you have any information about Skikda pipes, please add it here, or send it to sethile.pipes@gmail.com and we can add it for you.
