Update: From an email directly from Soren "Jan" Skovbo: Jan is the pipe make for Skovbo Piber, but he is NOT the Skovbo that worked with Nording in the 1960's of the SON brand. The SON Skovbo was his Uncle, his mother's brother, his name was Aage Skovbo. He died around 2009. Aage Skovbo did continue to make pipes during his lifetime. The simple SKOVBO stamping belongs to his pipes. | |||
