It’s a company around in the 1940’s and I’ve seen an ad from 1947 showing their unique paneled rustic and smooth finish. “Sportsman, Champion of Pipes” Ad states: “Looks good to the eye, look again. Notice how the bruyeres natural burl areas complement those smooth, polished planes. Sportsman smokes as sweet as it looks.” Pictured is 3 sportsman pipes and bird dog pointing bird.
