I believe there is a confusion in the second part of the article ("Serious doubts about...") between the two brands Kriswell and  Kriswill. Both exist.

:Thank you, Pipephil, that is a very helpful distinction. Otherwise I think ‎Suvonoge has made an excellent point. I was hoping I would hear back from Ellen so that we could clear up some of this speculation. No luck there so far... Meanwhile I'll try to pull this into an article that makes a little more sense of the little information we have. --sethile (talk) 10:17, 27 December 2012 (CST)

OK, I've tried to clean up the article with the facts, which are very few. There has been some interesting miss-information and speculation about this brand. What appears to be fact was added here on Pipedia in December of 2010 by Ellen Jarl who wrote that Jarl pipes were made by her grandfather, Niels Mogens Jørgensen in a little factory in the town of Bramdrupdam, just outside Kolding, Denmark. We have no reason to doubt that Niels Mogens Jørgensen is the maker of these pipes.
Previous to Ellen's post an anonymous contributor indicated that Jarl pipes had been made by Jarl Chieftan, who had worked under Sixten Ivarson for two years before starting out on his own. Christian Mengel, editing on Pipedia as TsaHa, then contended that this was not the case, and speculated that the Jarl pipes were actually one of the many Stanwell seconds. SUVONOGE, another Pipedia editor added several good points as to why this speculation did not make sense to him, and had some speculation of his own. This dialogue is available by viewing the history of the article. While I appreciate all these well intended efforts I think it best to have these discussion here the discussion tab and then distill any relevant points that come out of the discussion to the actual article. Does that make sense? --sethile (talk) 11:12, 27 December 2012 (CST)
