I also have serious doubts about Jarl being a Stanwell second. I hope we will here back from Ellen Jarl, who added the line at the top of the article indicating that these pipes were made by her Grandfather. It would be most interesting if we could find out more about these pipes from her. Otherwise it seems we are just speculating.

The Stanwell speculation was added by TseHa (Christian Mengel) who has done a great deal of excellent work on articles in the past, but has completely disappeared. His contribution here is very speculative. Certainly not intended as more than that.

I believe there is a confusion in the second part of the article ("Serious doubts about...") between the two brands Kriswell and Kriswill. Both exist. --pipephil 26 December 2012

Thank you, Pipephil, that is a very helpful distinction. Otherwise I think ‎Suvonoge has made an excellent point. I was hoping I would hear back from Ellen so that we could clear up some of this speculation. No luck there so far...
