+Perhaps some pipe makers are concerned about easy access to pipe making information, seeing it as a threat to their livelihood. Certainly the market is competitive, and may also be shrinking. However, very few new pipe makers will make the kind of sustained effort it takes to compete with those that have mastered this craft.
