Andreas Bauer of Vienna was probably the most famous brand manufacturing Meerschaum pipes - the best of the best. But prior to 1990 Bauer merged with Koncak Meerschaum of Eskisehir / Turkey.

Today Strambach of Vienna is the last of all the Austrian Meerschaum manufacturers.
