Thorsten Feitt, a native of Saarland, has been living and working in Ostallgäu (Bavaria) since 2011. As a carpenter's apprentice and enthusiastic Lord of the Rings fan, the first attempts were made in the early 2000s to recreate the reading pipes of Gandalf, Bilbo and Co. What had been lost over the years was then revived and the Thorsten Feitt pipe factory was founded in 2017. Building pipes is his passion and he loves the challenge of implementing new ideas.
