"Welcome to briarlab. Indianapolis, IN — U.S.A. based pipe maker's playground."
"Combining traditional methods and new technologies for the tobacco pipe smoker."

With nearly 2000 square feet of shop space and a dizzying array of top level equipment, briarlab is absolutely the best one-stop-shop for both the master and novice pipemaker. We offer pipe carvers the ability to simply become more successful. Better equipment. Shared ideas. Web and show sales. Strong community. HD photography. Business advice. Professional marketing. Unique processes. Advanced skills. Our cooperative studio was designed with just one question in mind: "How can we best advance the pipe making community?" We have designed an array of packages suitable for carvers of all skill levels – no matter where you live. You can join the lab full time or part time.

Here are just a few great examples of what all of our membership packages include:

  • Full instruction and use of professional shop equipment
  • Representation and sales at all pipe shows that briarlab attends, even if you can't go!
  • 24/7 Low cost consignment sales on briarlab.com with professional HD photography and full descriptions
  • Marketing and advertising updated daily on social media
  • Access to classes on how to improve your pipes and grow your pipemaking business

You may also enjoy hearing Brian Levine's interview with Michael Lindner on the Pipes Magazine Radio Show
And also an interview Brian did with Sarah Steele, who does pretty much everything at Brianlab except make pipes! Interview with Sarah Steele
