Pipas Nubió was the first Spanish company to turn and finish pipes. It was founded by Joseph Nubió, in the same year he established himself in Vic (Barcelona) after having bought machinery for producing pipes in Saint-Claude. In recent years, the company has been run by Jordi Nubió.
Everest was a Spanish brand created in 1933 and made by Nubió but apparently discontinued, and is now a second brand for Iberica de Pipas.
