From Pipes, Artisans and Trademarks, by José Manuel Lopes

Swiss Pipe dates back to 1941 when some artisans from the Bru-Bu factory left the company to set up a co-operative. Today it has been followed by the Stich company, which produces wooden furniture and handicraft, as well as some pipes, especially replicas of former pieces.
