In 1988 I turned my hobby into a passion, and started to manufacture handmade pipes in my workshop. The mouthpieces are hand cut from Ebonite.

In preparing my pipes I reject the use of putty fills, but have no problem with small spots, since these do not spoil the pleasure of smoking in any way. I place great value on the inherent grain in the briar, and work to obtain a beautiful surface to accentuate the Straight or Birdseye grain of each piece. This leads to pipes of medium and larger sizes.
