'''Buescher's''' made corncob and hardwood pipes stamped "World Famous Pipe" until 1990/1991. It had previously been speculated they were purchased by [[Missouri Meerschaum]] in the late 1940's. That is not the case with Buescher's, although many other cob makers were.
