I became captivated by the profound charm of handmade pipes, and it has been more than 40 years since I started making pipes. During that time, I started interacting with the late Jørn Micke and Lars Ivarsson, and many wonderful seniors. I am blessed with wonderful friends from various professions, and I am still deepening my friendship.

There are many types of smoking pipes and they are deep, and there are handmade pipes (fancy type) with attractive free shape as opposed to the traditional European type. The European type is basically machine-made, and the number of well-grained pipes is small, making it a very valuable item. Especially, dunhill silky grain smooth-finished pipes and sandblasted ring-grained pipes. Is very valuable and attractive. On the other hand, handmade pipes are made by the artist freely using the grain of wood, and there is a wide variety of pipes, from attractive pipes that fit well in the hand to unique pipes, with beautiful wood grain and nice designs. I'm out. The pipes I make are not bound by European type or fancy type, and the theme is to make pipes that you can feel attached to as a smoking tool, with a reliable structure and careful finishing, and visually reasonable. Based on the concept of making pipes, we are currently producing 30 to 40 pipes a year.

By the way, the quality of pipes depends on the quality of the pipes. In the past, many good quality Corsica heathers were imported, but now they are difficult to obtain and very valuable. Fortunately, I bought a lot of good quality Corsica heathers about 30 years ago, and now I have a little stock, but someday it will run out of stock. Fortunately, we have been importing and producing only the best briar of special quality from the raw wood of Mimo, which is used by famous pipe writers in the world, since around 2005, but the material is wonderful and motivated to produce.

Also, I am particular about the ebonite used for the mouthpiece, and I think that the ebonite of the New York hamburger that I have been using for a long time is the best. The beautiful black luster that ebonite reacts to when carefully finished, and the feel when holding the mouthpiece are very wonderful, and even if you use it for a long time, the luster is rarely lost, so I think it is the best ebonite. I will. However, if ebonite is left in the light of ultraviolet rays or fluorescent lamps for a long period of time, the surface will deteriorate due to sulfurization, and it will lose its luster and discolor. After use, wipe the mouthpiece well and put it in the pipe pouch. We recommend that you keep it.[1]
